Overview

The challenge

Ledgerly’s customers were tracking invoices across spreadsheets and three different tools. They needed one dashboard that showed cash flow in real time, without slowing down as accounts grew.

What I built

A Next.js front end with server components, a Node.js API and PostgreSQL with row-level security. Payments sync through Stripe webhooks, and live balances update over WebSockets.

The result

Dashboard load time dropped from 4.2s to under 900ms, and Ledgerly now serves 3,000+ businesses with 99.9% uptime.
