Why I built it
Small delivery teams kept asking for route optimisation that didn’t cost thousands a month. I started Routewise as a weekend project to give them a fast, free alternative.
How it works
A Go core for the routing engine, Python bindings for data teams, a REST API with OpenAPI docs, and a CI pipeline that benchmarks every pull request.
Where it is now
Routewise has 1,200+ stars on GitHub, 40 contributors, and is used in production by two delivery startups.
